The privately-owned Sandman Hotel Group owns more than 40 hotels, resorts, inns and suites across Canada and is now actively looking for other sites across the UK and in Europe. It joins the Sandman Signature hotel in Newcastle, which the group opened in 2011. The 151-bedroom hotel, situated four miles from Gatwick Airport in Crawley, features a restaurant and bar, a residents’ gym and a conference centre with twelve meeting rooms for up to 200 delegates.
